Woman Injured in Sandy Township Rollover Crash

ambulance-blurry-6SANDY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 20-year-old woman was taken the hospital after she crashed her SUV on Tuesday morning on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.

According to DuBois-based State Police, around 7:02 a.m. on May 2, a known, 20-year-old Osceola Mills woman was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer on the westbound exit ramp, negotiating a left curve. She lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway, then overturned and hit the raised concrete median.

She was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment of suspected minor injuries; she was using a seat belt.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

The woman’s name was not released.

State police were assisted at the scene by DuBois Fire and EMS and Zimmerman Towing.
