Woman Jailed Following Domestic Dispute Over Cell Phone in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 6:08 p.m. on July 28, they were dispatched to Western Avenue for an incident of a female who had smashed belongings in a residence and fled the scene.

Police say upon speaking to the male resident, it was determined that an argument took place over a cell phone.

During the course of the argument, Pati Brodmerkle, of Brookville, struck the male resident several times, causing injury to him, according to police.

Brodmerkle was taken to Jefferson County Jail and charged with the following offenses:

-Simple Assault
-Harassment
-Disorderly Conduct

Brookville Police were assisted by Pennsylvania State Police.
