Woman Sentenced to Time Served in Child Custody Case

REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A Jefferson County woman was sentenced to time served and three years probation in relation to a child custody case recently.

Court documents indicate President Judge John H. Foradora sentenced 28-year-old Kylie Morgan Hamilton, of Reynoldsville, to time served plus three years probation on one third-degree felony count of interference with custody of children on July 3, immediately following Hamilton’s entry of a guilty plea.

Foradora ordered Hamilton to two years less one-day confinement in the Jefferson County on the charge with full credit for time served and immediate parole.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, Kylie Morgan Hamilton violated a child custody order from June 2017 by removing the children in the custody order from the state and not providing the individuals with shared partial legal custody of the children with written notice or a change in address and contact information.

Hamilton was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock on July 28, 2019.
