Yolanda “Yo” Hoynoski, 94, DuBois, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Christ the King Manor.
Born May 8, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Romana (Morelli) Dellana.
She was married to Richard N. Hoynoski. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2002.
Yo retired from Town and Country Ladies Shop as a salesperson.
She was a Eucharistic minister and volunteered her time at the St. Michael’s Festival for many years.
Additionally, Yo volunteered at DRMC West Hospital.
Yo is survived by two sons, Keith R. (Rhonda) Hoynoski, Reno, Nevada, and Kevin C. Hoynoski, DuBois, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Yo was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Angotti and a brother, Bruno Dellana.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 3-4 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Father Edward Walk officiating.
The family requests all visitors wear a mask and practice social distancing. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery.
