Ann C. Fehl

Ann C. Fehl, 82, of Clearfield, PA., passed away Saturday, May 12, at Penn Highlands in DuBois. Mrs. Fehl was born June 7, 1935, in Punxsutawney, as the daughter of Gerald and Mabel (Lines) Carrier. She was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School, class of 1953, as well as a graduate of Houghton College, class of 1957. Mrs. Fehl had taught in the Clearfield Area School District. She was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church where she served as a deaconess, as well as the organist for many years. Ann is survived by her daughter, Beth A. Bergstrom and her husband, Chris, of Buffalo, NY.; two grandchildren, Kathryn and Ryan Bergstrom; a brother, Gerald Carrier and his wife, Patricia, of Campbell, NY.; and two nieces and a nephew. Mrs. Fehl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Fehl, whom she married on November 25, 1967, and who passed away May 23, 2010; and a sister, Esther Jane Carrier. Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, May 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
