Come to Sawmill Center for a double feature of Bigfoot documentaries. They will be featuring ‘Mountain Devil: The Search for Frank Peterson’ and ‘I’ve Seen Bigfoot.’ Both movies by local independent film makers. Come walk back in time with us into the depths of the Forest Cathedral with an historical character from the past. Come view the ancient forest as we walk beneath the giants by candlelight. Either a French Marine from the 1750’s who saw these massive trees 250 years ago, or a lumberman from the 1800’s will be there to guide us. Fall Foliage Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour

Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire Tower Parking Lot for a 45 minute historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point. Learn about local logging history, observe the Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view of the fall foliage from the box at the very top of the Fire Tower which will be open until 2:30 p.m. This is the last time the fire tower will be open to the public this year. Phil’s Trick or Trot 5K Run/2.2K Walk

Where:Gobbler’s Knob, 1548 Woodland Avenue Ext., Punxsutawney, PA

The race and fun walk will begin at Gobbler’s Knob 1548 Woodland Ave Punxsutawney, PA 15767. The course will include the grounds around the Knob, the Gobbler’s Knob Trail, a portion of Woodland Ave Ext, and Pine Tree Road. The course will be distinctly marked. The race will finish with running the ‘trek’ to the Knob Stage. Participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes for the costume contest, but are not required.
